Kek Lok Si Temple

Kek Lok Si Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, featuring multiple prayer halls, intricate sculptures, a 30-metre-high pagoda, and a towering bronze statue of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. Built in 1891, Kek Lok Si is especially stunning during Chinese New Year celebrations when locals and tourists flock to see the vibrant lights decorating the Temple's facade.

Kek Lok Si functions as a centre for Chinese culture, Buddhist teachings, Mahayana Buddhism practices and traditional Chinese rituals. It also serves as a sanctuary for worshippers and visitors alike, offering incredible views of the Island amidst peace and serenity.
